John Walker AM

Chairman

John retired 2020 as Chairman of Macquarie Group of Companies Korea and Chairman of Macquarie Capital, Asia after 22 years with Macquarie Group. He is the Chairman and Founder of Eastpoint Partners. John can deliver relationships, opportunities and solutions to corporates and governments.

He is now focused on providing services as an advisor or Non-Executive Director to investors, corporates and governments, leveraging his practical experience and relationships across a number of Asian markets.

Achievements over the last 12 months include advising an Indonesian Group on acquisition of a wind farm; partnering of SK Holdings and Geely Motors to launch a new mobility fund; advising the Indonesian Government on its new sovereign wealth fund; advised IGIS Private Equity in Korea on its sale to BlackRock’s global renewable energy fund.

Alan Pengelly

Director

Alan Pengelly is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 20 years' experience in the Construction Industry, starting his career as a Civil Engineering Contractor on major infrastructure projects in Hong Kong.

Following an MBA at Manchester Business School, he then moved into sales, marketing and business development roles in the Construction Chemicals Industry in locations as diverse as India, China, Hong Kong, Mongolia and Singapore.

Marius Johansen

Director

Marius Johansen has over 13 years’ experience in Investment Banking, commodity and freight trading from several of the world main trading hubs like Switzerland, Norway, Singapore and Monaco. He has been involved in a broad range of Capital Investments in the energy and mining sector through his private investment company.

He is currently the Managing Partner of Titan Energy Resources LLC, a privately owned investment company operating in the energy and resources sector.

Tim Vanroelen

Tim Vanroelen is a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in the energy industry and 5 years in strategy consulting. With a proven track record of success in various leadership roles, Tim has established a reputation for being a long-term thinker and is appreciated for his can-do mentality.

Throughout Tim's career, he has held several key positions, including CEO, Senior Business Development Manager, Infrastructure Construction Project Manager,etc. The diverse experiences accumulated during these roles have enabled him to develop a deep understanding of the complexities of the energy industry, along with a keen sense of business acumen and financial management.

Tim is passionate about the ongoing energy transition and is committed to driving the industry forward. He firmly believes that the energy transition presents exciting development opportunities for businesses, communities and society in general alike.

Dr.Elvi Nasution

Advisor / Consultant

Dr. Elvi is a Financial & Energy industry professional with over 22 years of international experience, in which she was the country manager of the National Australia Bank(NAB) for Indonesia for over 6 years, previously she held C-suite positions at the Natixis Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC).

Whilst, she previously held senior roles at the World Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Trade Organization, and BBVA in Jakarta, Geneva, and New York. Throughout her career, she has been involved in and/ led most infrastructure landmark project finance transactions in Indonesia.

She has a PhD in finance whereas she is also an active policy advocate in the renewable energy and financial sustainability space; in which she is a board member and spokesperson of the Indonesia renewable society.

Michael Gilmore

Advisor / Consultant

Michael Gilmore is an experienced Project Director with a demonstrated history of working in the renewable sector. He is skilled professional Contract Negotiation, Contract Management, Project Management scheduling, and contract claim procedures are his strong points.

Michael has “hands-on” site management experience of processes ranging from feasibility studies through to practical completion and commissioning stage. Coupled to this technical expertise he has an inbuilt ability to manage stakeholders and complex situations simultaneously. Andrew Macintosh

M&A Advisor

Andrew Macintosh is an experienced financial professional specialized in capital raising, project equity financing, and mergers and acquisitions.

Andrew is Chairman of Acorus Investment Management, a China-Africa PE fund. Managing Partner (Asia) of Entoro Capital, a Houston-based energy investment bank.

A former banker with Jardine Fleming, JP Morgan, Westpac, and NAB.

Adjunct Faculty at Macquarie University, lecturing in economics, M&A, and investment management. Visiting scholar at HKUST in energy geopolitics. Faculty at Australian Institute of Company Directors lecturing on driving financial performance for directors.

Member of United Nations ESCAP Banking & Finance Task Force, Cyberport Advisory Panel, Association of International Petroleum Negotiators. Chairman of AustCham Hong Kong. Deputy chairman of the Australian International School in Hong Kong. Director of the Westline Educational Group in Cambodia.
