Michael Gilmore is an experienced Project Director with a demonstrated history of working in the civil engineering industry. He is skilled in Wind Turbines, Contract Negotiation, Contract Management, Project Management, and Energy.
Over forty years’ experience in the construction industry in many and varied positions which gave him a detailed knowledge of how major contracts and large infrastructure projects operate. Project management, scheduling, and contract claim procedures are his strong points.
Michael has “hands-on” site management experience of processes ranging from feasibility studies through to practical completion and commissioning stage. Coupled to this technical expertise he has an inbuilt ability to manage stakeholders and complex situations simultaneously.
Danny Nielsen is a respected executive in wind energy and a pioneer in the renewable energy industry. He has over 20 years of experience leading strategy and execution, innovating wind programs and projects across the globe for Vestas.
Recognized as a thought leader and linchpin in the areas of wind energy sales, business development, construction, and service, Danny has been instrumental in catapulting the success of Vestas into the unequivocal global industry leader. His efforts have helped Vestas grow from a €150 million privately held company into an €11 billion publicly-traded company.
Danny, who is well versed in navigating diverse geopolitical and cultural landscapes, has cultivated world-class operations in numerous markets across Europe; Asia Pacific & CIS region; North America; and South Africa.
In addition to the technical mastery of wind turbines and wind power plants, Danny is skilled in strategic planning, business development, organizational strategy, and relationship management with stakeholders including government. He has managed P&L up to €1.1 billion and overseen diverse employee populations of 1,400.
